VEIL's role in consumer products does not stop at advertising campaigns or scratch-and-win promotions. The toy industry has been an institution of the world's culture, but has most recently discovered its biggest adversary; the video game. The interactive element of video games provided children with a certain level of engagement and entertainment that GI Joe alone, could never bring to the table. VEIL has, and can take the traditional toy to a new, interactive level. Why not allow once-passive toys to communicate with the television? Whether through packaged DVDs, or Saturday morning cartoons, VEIL has given accompanying toys the ability to interact with the screen.
Most recently, this was proven through the Batwave. The Batwave was an interactive toy created with the Mattel brand support, and with VEIL technology. The Batwave, TV-activated Batmobile received the invisible signal embedded in the morning cartoon that would bring the car to life. The opportunities are endless to bring the traditional toy back to life as well as tap into an area of children's imaginations that has been left untouched until now.
